Applicable rules at events

  1. In my courses and private training sessions, it is important that we all look after ourselves and each other. This responsibility applies not only to as safe as possible ying techniques and the use of your ropes, but also to treating each individual's personal comfort zones with respect.

  2. In my courses and private training sessions, it is important that we all look after ourselves and each other. This responsibility applies not only to as safe as possible tying techniques and the use of your ropes, but also to treating each individual's personal comfort zones with respect.

  3. The ego stays at the door for every training, workshop, or private tuition – and waits there until the tying is over. This means that everyone should tie at their own pace and stick to the level that suits them and where they feel comfortable. If I tell you that you're not yet ready for a certain technique, it's for safety reasons. Don’t overestimate yourselves – take my feedback seriously to avoid injuries.

  4. Communicate and interact with everyone the way you would like others to communicate and interact with you – politely, attentively, mindfully, and respectfully. This also includes letting me know if you can’t make it or if you’re running late. You can reach me at +49 17656885203 for that.

  5. You are personally responsible for bringing your own equipment that meets the necessary safety standards and that you are able to use safely. If I feel that your equipment is not suitable for your intended activity, I will intervene to protect you (e.g. using cotton rope for suspension, hardware store carabiners, etc.).

  6. It is mandatory to have a safety cutter with you. Anyone who does not bring a safety cutter or similar tool must purchase one from me on site for €15 or will not be allowed to tie.

  7. Listen carefully when I explain something and follow my instructions. Doing otherwise could lead to dangerous situations.

  8. Make sure you are in good physical and mental condition and fit to engage in tying. This includes being well-hydrated, having eaten enough, and not being under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

  9. If something is unclear or you don’t understand something, please don’t hesitate to ask! I’m always happy to help.

If these rules are repeatedly disregarded, I reserve the right to issue warnings. If there is no change in behavior, this may lead to a suspension. These rules exist for everyone’s safety and well-being, so that we can participate in the courses with joy, without injuries, and with new insights.
