Workshop
In this workshop we'll cover the pattern and science behind Dolph's gote. This gote has been developed and improved over the past 10 years and has proven to be suitable for most people through practice. In teaching this, we'll combine practical exercises with theoretical knowledge on the physics of rope. We'll also provide adaptations for different needs for models/bottoms. All and all we'll get real nerdy and in depth on the how's and why's in this workshop, so you might want to bring your labcoats!
The exercises will be shown on a single point and we recommended to tie it on a single point. If you are not used to tieing on a single point please let us know beforehand so we can provide a bamboo for you.
Teacher
Somewhere in early 2015 Dolph (NL) started to tie. He had always been drawn to rope as a versatile tool. And exactly this versatility was what ultimately fascinated him about rope bondage as well. Rope became a tool of self expression, fulfilling different needs during different periods in his life. It gave him new means of connection to other people. When you tie with somebody, you tend to get to know them in a different way. The technical aspects of how rope bondage, and how it affects the body are a constant fascination. As he is firm believer that everything worth doing is worth doing right, he continues to seek improvement of his tying. Dolph's style is best described as a mix between violent and romantic.
SickDucks (NL) came in contact with rope through her work as a model for photography. Although she always had a fascination for kink, her first experiences with rope bondage were mostly focused on creating strong aesthetic images. Currently, her main interests in rope is rope as a means of connection. She likes to be in challenging ties, as part to help her discover what her body is capable of. She has also become invaluable in streamlining their teaching and keeping Dolph's perfectionistic tendency's in check. Her style of bottoming can be described as assertive and with sensual undertones. She is a strong non-verbal communicator and adds her own colour and drama to a rope session.
Rigger preconditions
- Safe Single Column Tie & Fricitions
- Safe Upline Management
- Suspendable lower body harness (Futomomo, Half Booty Basket, Booty Basket, ...)
- Carabiners or a Ring to tie on
Model Precondition
- Good communication with their rigger
- Ability to distinguish between blood flow restriction & nerve issues
- Ability to put hands horizontally behinde their back (box tie or high hands position)
- If you have issues in TK - This workshop is for you!
Tickets
You need to register as a couple. The price goes for a couple.
Pupils, students, and trainees or people who find themselves in a financially hard situation can receive a 10% discount per person if needed (please email me before booking!).
Dolph & Sick Ducks gonna teach mores classes during the weekend. If you buy multiple workshops in a bundle you will save some money.
