Tying on bamboo

In this workshop, you’ll discover essential concepts and hands-on techniques for working with suspension on bamboo. From mindful body handling to reliable rope finishing methods, we’ll dive into all the key aspects that make bamboo suspensions both safe and effective.

You’ll gain practical guidance and safety insights that will help you build a strong foundation for your rope journey. Together, we’ll also explore the unique advantages of bamboo compared to single-point suspensions, opening up new creative possibilities.

This workshop is designed for people who already have some experience with partial and/or full suspensions and are ready to expand their skills.

The workshop will be taught in English by MieNeko & sick.ducks.

Preconditions for Rigger:

• suspendable chest harnes, which can be loaded from the back
• efficient Suspensionline Handling
• experienced with (Partial) Suspension
• a rope set with 8 lengths of rope

Preconditions for Model:

• ability to perform independent hand checks and distinguish between circulation issues and potential nerve damage
• experienced with (Partial) Suspension

Costs:

• 150€ per couple
• Students and trainees can receive a 10% discount per person upon request
